For me, the creative process is all about inspiration and refinement. Taking elements from the things you enjoy and piecing together ideas to create something new. Most importantly though, I would say enjoying the creative process is a very important aspect, at least in my work. I also don't think it's necessary to always know what you're making, an idea isn't as important as actually making something so getting stumped on a direct theme is something I try and avoid.

For this project I wanted to take elements from my passion for video games and practice using 3D software, something I've only been accustomed to recently. I wanted to bring back memories I had of old video games and primitive low-poly models. My work doesn't necessarily have a meaning. It is meant to represent the feeling of looking at a virtual character for the first time again, this time however I'm the creator.
