Kareem Shanti

I am self-taught digital artist who hopes to start my own personal comic series. I don't have a concrete style and always adapt to new ways and experiment with what I stumble upon in the process. I like digital art for several reasons. I like the ability to undo my errors or transform and resize some parts. It just makes life much easier than traditional art. I don't know if you have noticed yet or not, but the first 20% of my profile picture starting from the left is all made digitally. I'm not experienced in these things, but always try to experiment until things start coming together. This font I am using is also a custom font I made digitally.

In the theme of coalescence, my projects deals with shapes that are made of smaller pieces that become clear when they come together.

Pyramid of Progression shows my process of drawing in it's different pieces. I also made a gif to show how it would like when moving. In theme of coalescence it's also made of smaller pieces the make a shape when put together.

Reaching Beyond

When I started this project at first I wanted to give myself an excuse to bring one of my old doodles on sketchbook to it's potential. The original sketch was from 2019. It took me around 2 weeks to finish this piece. While the title itself refers to the act of reaching beyond I originally named the cube Magichanical Cube. It also coincidentally a part of the coalescence theme, as it's made of smaller pieces that's when combine make one giant cube.

Process

I actually didn't have a plan on its final look and several happy accidents happened until it turned out the way it is in the end. Before it's finalized colors it was actually all green.

Extras

These were extra pieces I did to see how it would look like when it's closed.

Transformation

The idea of the project was to transform an old piece, and I did that through turning it into a t-shirt! I might consider selling some of them in the future if I ever free up to do that.
